Testimonials

See what other travellers have to say about their stay in the Canterbury Room.

We had a lovely stay over the Victoria Day weekend. We stayed in the spacious Canterbury Room. It had twin beds and an upscale, good size bathroom. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. There were cookies and sherry every evening. Paulanne was a marvelous host. I would certainly stay at Ashcroft House the next time I am in Victoria.

We found this property as a good compromise between price and quality since so many hotels/B&Bs in Victoria are so expensive. Location is great - only about a 10-15 min pleasant walk to downtown Victoria, in a quiet residential neighbourhood near the water. Paulanne, a very energetic lady, met us and showed us to our room, we stayed in the Canterbury room. The rooms are a floor up, while downstairs there is the dining/relaxation guestroom/kitchen, with lots of information and leaflets for tourists and some homemade jams you can purchase.
